Lancée en 2010 par S.A.S. le Prince Albert II de Monaco, la Monaco Blue Initiative est une plateforme de discussion co-organisée par l'Institut Océanographique - Fondation Albert Ier, Prince de Monacoet la Fondation Prince Albert II de Monaco.
Elle réunit ses membres une fois par an pour aborder les défis mondiaux présents et à venir de la gestion et de la conservation des océans.
